In the southeast corner of Palm Beach County on the Atlantic seashore, a village by the sea that began as an agricultural community in 1895 has become one of Florida's most popular destinations for visitors, new families and seasonal residents. The "Downtown Delray Beach Master Plan" represents the citizens' plan for the unification and future growth of the downtown area. The Plan provides a blueprint for the development of the City's oldest business districts and the surrounding neighborhoods.

Delray Municipal Beach and Atlantic Dunes Park are lifeguard supervised from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, 365 days per year.
