Municipal lien searches are conducted at the request of any title company, financial institution, or law firm at a cost, as of October 1, 2009, of $40.00 per legal description/$75.00 per legal description (Rush Fee) for a 24-48 turnaround time .  Each lien search provides outstanding municipal debts assessed on a specific city property through a utility account, nuisance abatement, and/or special assessment.  Should there be an outstanding municipal debt, payments and release of liens are handled by the City Clerk's office. Please print and complete the Lien Search Request Form to begin the process.  Please mail the form to the City Clerk's Office located at 100 N.W. 1st Avenue, Delray Beach, Florida 33444.
