The City Manager and his staff work hand-in-hand with the City Commission, residents, and businesses of the City of Delray Beach to effectively meet the needs of the community.
Our City Manager is appointed by the City Commission and serves as Chief Executive Officer, reporting directly to the City Commission. The City Manager provides professional leadership and administrative support to the Mayor and Commission in the administration and the execution of policies. The City Manager appoints the Assistant City Manager and ten department heads, supervising all departmental functions.

Our Assistant City Manager provides leadership and direction to Telecommunications, Administrative staff, contracted service staff, and coordinates all special events; such as, the Holiday Parade, July 4th Celebration, the Delray Affair, just to name a few. He is also liaison between the City and the Joint Venture, Old School Square, Sandoway House, and provides staff assistance to the Sister Cities Committee.
The City Manager's staff is also responsible for the publication of all press releases and neighborhood news.
