Environmental Compliance
The Compliance Laboratory is responsible for collecting and tracking all water samples tested by the laboratory as prescribed under the National Environmental Laboratory Association Conference's (NELAC) most recent standard.  The lab performs internal quality audits according to NELAC standards; follows a Quality Assurance Plan and provides an annual "quality review" of laboratory operations; manages and distributes analytical samples to the Delray Beach Environmental Services laboratory as well as to subcontracted laboratories, administering the effective operation of sample distribution for testing; and manages data retrieval and consolidation for reporting test results to the Water Treatment Plant and Health Department for compliance reporting purposes.
