Public Utilities Division operates and maintains the City's water and sewer utility systems and monitors for compliance with all state and federal requirements. In addition, the division maintains the City's storm water pump stations.
The South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) has declared that a water shortage is in effect for Palm Beach County and has ordered mandatory water restrictions effective Saturday, March 26, 2011. This order limits landscape irrigation to 2 days per week for residential and business properties within the City of Delray Beach and Palm Beach County. For more information, click here.
