New Vendor Application

The City of Delray Beach wants to purchase the best quality materials and services at the lowest available price.  Our purchases, therefore, are generally based on the lowest price quoted or bid on items of equal or better quality.  We also want to ensure that everyone who would like to sell to the City has an equal opportunity to do so.  If you would like the opportunity to sell to the City of Delray Beach, please click on the following link to print our Vendor Application.  Vendor Application Form (64k).   Along with the Vendor Application we would request you fill out a W-9 Form for us to have your tax identification number.  To print a W-9 Form, click on the following link to the IRS website.  W-9 Form

To review a listing of commodity codes for items and services that your company is capable of supplying, click the following link to print Commodity Code List (105k).  Place a circle around ALL ITEMS that your company would like to have on file to be solicited for in the future.

Return your Vendor Application, Form W-9, and the Commodity Code List to:  The City of Delray Beach, Purchasing Division, 100 N.W. 1st Avenue, Delray Beach, FL 33444 or fax to (561)243-7166.  If you have any questions, call Patsy Nadal at (561) 243-7161.

Additionally the Purchasing Division of the Finance Department of the City of Delray Beach has contracted with Onvia to use the Onvia DemandStar System (hereinafter called DemandStar) to maintain a vendor information system on the Internet.

Vendors may register for subscription services on DemandStar to receive automatic notification of bid opportunities and any addendums issued by the City Purchasing Division and any other government agency in Palm Beach County who participates in the DemandStar system.  Participation in the DemandStar system will enable vendors to maintain their vendor file, download document packages, and submit responses to bid invitations via the Internet.  Open bids, bids pending award, and recent bid awards may be electronically downloaded free of charge.  Addendums are also added as they become available and may also be downloaded for free.  Please, remember to check for addendums before submitting your bid.

Vendors may register to receive notification of solicitations for bids, proposals, and quotes from the City of Delray Beach, free of charge, by visiting the Onvia Demand Star Registration Webpage at www.demandstar.com/register.rsp.  Once you are logged onto the page, select the "Onvia DemandStar FREE AGENGY" option.  On the form that opens, enter the pertinent information for your business, be sure to enter "City of Delray Beach" in the Agency Name field.  If you need technical assistance on the website, call Onvia Supplier Services at 1-800-711-1712.

Vendors will need to register on DemandStar and select a subscription service that includes the City of Delray Beach to receive procurement information from the City.  Those vendors that want to receive notification of bid and proposal solicitations from institutions beyond the City of Delray Beach have the option to select a service that is appropriate for their needs.
