Two of Delray Beaches most instrumental Lieutenant's retire after a combined 58 years of service.

Delray Beach Fire-Rescue bids a fond farewell to two of its most instrumental Lieutenants’. After 30 years and 28 years of dedicated service to the city Lt. Geoff Cooper and Lt. Wayne Dorcas will both be retiring within the next two weeks. Both lieutenants have made their mark on Delray Beach Fire-Rescue through developing countless training programs, offering over 58 years of operational experience, and an almost contagious passion for the fire service. We wish both of these stellar members of the fire service a safe and happy retirement!
