Miracle League of Delray Beach
The Miracle League's fourth season will begin on November 1st and will be played on the training field behind the Bucky Dent Baseball School, which is located at the south end of Miller Park. The field is flat and will have flat bases to avoid the problems that come with uneven ground and mobility obstacles.
The Rules of the League are: Every player bats once each inning; All base runners are safe; Every player scores a run before the inning is over; The last batter gets a home run; Each Team and player wins every game; Community children and volunteers serve as "buddies" to assist players.
Fall Season: Games Begin on November 1st and will run through December 20th (no game on Nov. 29th), at 3:00 pm and 4:30 pm. Rain days are on Sundays. Competitive League is also available!

Players:
Boys & Girls ages 5 to 19 years old
Cost $45.00 (Scholarships available for qualified applicants)
Buddies:
Boys and Girls. Minimum age is 12 years old. Buddies over the age of 18 will be submitted for a background check. There will be a Buddy Training before the beginning of the season.

"The Delray Beach Miracle League" is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization that provides children with mental and/or physical challenges an opportunity to play baseball as a team member in an organized league. There is something about playing the game of baseball that lights up youngsters' eyes, but for children facing physical and mental challenges, that opportunity can often be a difficult first step. The Miracle League gives these children the opportunity to get out in the sunshine, and enjoy playing the game of baseball in its purest form.
