The Future Men and Women of Delray Beach (FMDB & FWDB) mentoring program is designed for adolescents ages 12??"18. This program provides young men and women an avenue for social growth, a commitment to education, career readiness, healthy living, and community services. The mission is to provide adolescent boys and girls a positive role model to help guide them through the complex paths of social life; and to becoming a productive citizen in the global economy.

The art of stepping was derived from a tradition of song and dance rituals practiced by historic African American fraternities and sororities.
