Infants-Toddlers 

Kindermusik- Young Artwork Summer Program 

Days: Tuesdays
Dates: June 26 - Aug 7 (No class July 3, July 17, July 31)
Ages: 2 1/2-5 yrs old (Toilet trained)
Time: 9am-11:30am.
Price: $195 residents; $198 nonresidents
Each class in this 4 weeks program is designed to give participants an opportunity to explore music and art through a variety of techniques and instruments in a fun environment. Each class will have a different theme. This program is for toilet trained young children and is taught in English and Spanish. More information www.brilliant-brains.com and www.youngartwork.com. Kindermusik and art materials are included. Snack & drink provided by parents for break time. This is a drop off program.

Kindermusik is a music and movement program for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and big kids. You and your child will play, listen, and dance to musical activities specifically designed to stimulate early childhood development and strengthen neural pathways in your child's mind with  experience-speaking, singing, moving, dancing, listening, creating and playing instruments, without the pressure to perform -just the encouragement and guidance to stretch their boundaries with creativity and fun!

Ballet Butterflies & Kiddy Creative Dance Classes

Ballet Butterflies is a pre-ballet class that exposes the 2-3 year olds to ballet music, positions and movement. This class builds poise, grace, flexibility and posture alignment. The atmosphere is playful and non-competitive so that the very young student is encouraged to feel confident moving. 
Kiddie Creative Dance is an exploration of all of the possibilities of the body ages 4-6, while emphasizing the 3 components of dance; rhythm, shape and space. Through guided imagery and structured improvisation, the child arrives at his/her OWN unique self expression. The use of props is included, as well as sampling of Dances/Music from other cultures.

Tai Chi for Beginners

Tai Chi offers many health benefits for balancing body, mind and spirit. It strengthens the immune system by improving the functions of the circulatory, nervous, respiratory, digestive and endocrine systems. Learn natural ways to relive tension, stress and pains. Certified instructor.

Yoga

Ages: 18 years old and up

A Peaceful Practice to Enhance Your Life! Yoga postures (called asanas) work with your body to strengthen muscles that will support and help elongate your spine for improved postural alignment and balance. This creates a more youthful energy and efficiency of movement as well as a more youthful appearance.  The end result is increased mental clarity, emotional stability, and a greater sense of overall well-being.


Acrylics

Ages: 18 years old and up

Local instructor will teach basic acrylic painting techniques to beginners and available for instruction to advanced painters as well. Try your hand at something new ??" show your inner artist!  Call for list of supplies needed.

Watercolour Painting Workshop

Ages: Adults
Dates: Ongoing
Days: Mondays
Time: 10am - 1:00 pm
Cost: $30 residents; $35 non residents; full monthly payment required. No cancellations, Refunds, make-up policy. The Instructor will provide a class lesson, and lecture with an emphasis on composition and drawing, then a painting demo.  The remainder of the class time is one on one instruction and finishing with a class critique. (Students are always welcome to work on their own subject material).

Belly Dancing with Sherezzah

Walking is for seniors and adults who want to begin getting active.  It is a great opportunity to improve your health, make new friends, and enjoy the beautiful vistas Delray has to offer.  Sponsored by Ocean Rescue and Veterans Park Recreation Center. 

Senior Bridge

Ages: 18 years old and up
Dates: Ongoing
Days: Thursdays
Time: 1:00 -4:00 pm
Cost: $15.00/yr. + $1/game residents; $25/yr. + $2/game non-residents
Guests play for $2.00 a game. Senior Bridge or Contract Bridge is said to enhance the immune system, according to a preliminary study by researchers at UC Berkeley. All experienced players are welcome. Partners are not needed.

Lawn Bowling
