Participants are taught basic baseball skills and compete in weekly games and tournaments. Registration and Try Outs/Player Evaluations are now taking place until March 14, 2008. Games are played on a soft, flat surface. The Rules of the League are: Every player bats once each inning; All base runners are safe; Every player scores a run before the inning is over; The last batter gets a home run; Each Team and player wins every game; Community children and volunteers serve as "buddies" to assist players.

This league will focus on full court basketball outdoors with organized rules and regulations. Youth have the opportunity of bringing their own team to an 8 week sechudle of games played on Thursdays and Saturdays. A tournament to decide the league championship will be played at the "Catherine Strong Park Annual Block Party" on July 26th, 2008. This league should attract local residents to engage in competition, camaraderie and good overall sportsmanship.

This is a tackle football program that competes in the SFYFL. Practices are held weekdays and games are played on Saturdays. Please call for registration times. Each player must submit copy of player(s) birth certificate, proof of residence, a photos and must have a recent physical. Player must also purchase own cleats and other accessories. The 6 and under division is an instructional division and will focus on basic football skills like catching, throwing and team work concepts. The other division teams play non-contact 5-vs-5 games on a 60-yard field where the basics of football are learned and good sportsmanship is promoted.
Coaches are also needed for this league.
