Dissemination of Information

The Department is the primary source for information on:

  • Land use issues including zoning and allowable uses of properties;

  • Development regulations such as parking requirements, height restrictions, and building setback requirements;

  • Historic preservation; and,

  • Population data.

The Department maintains a display board in the development services wing (north wing) of the City Hall Building which provides the following information:

  • History of Delray Beach;

  • Agendas of upcoming Board meetings; and,

  • Information on various planning and development activities in the City.

In order to keep neighborhoods informed of development activities within their area, courtesy notices are mailed to their Associations regarding development applications which are being processed.
