The Planning & Zoning Department has a unique role within the organizational structure of City government. The Department's primary responsibility is that of guiding and directing the City's future growth while ensuring the preservation of its unique attributes. The department has been divided into two divisions, Current Planning and Long Range Planning.
The following has been prepared as a GUIDE to the ACTIVITIES AND FUNCTIONS performed by the City of Delray Beach's Planning and Zoning Department. These pages should be used strictly for INFORMATION purposes when pursuing land development approvals within the City.
