Atlantic Avenue Bridge - Intracoastal Waterway Individually Listed Historic Properties

There are many buildings, sites, and structures which can be considered "historic" due to their age and architectural or historical significance but cannot be designated as part of a district based on their lack of a contiguity to other similar historic resources. The City of Delray Beach has twenty-six such properties that include everything from residences and churches to museums and bridges. Below is a list of the current individually listed historic resources that have been individually designated historic, pursuant to LDR 4.5.1(B).

  2. Fontaine Fox House - 610 & 615 North Ocean Blvd.
  3. Site of School No. 4, Delray Colored School - N.W. 5th Avenue
  4. Greater Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church - 40 N.W. 4th Avenue
  5. St. Paul's African Methodist Episcopal Church - 119 N.W. 5th Avenue
  6. Free & Accepted Masons of Delray Beach - 85 N.W. 5th Avenue
  7. St. Matthews Episcopal Church - 404 S.W. 3rd Avenue.
  8. The Koch House - 777 North Ocean Boulevard
  9. Sundy Feed Store (relocated to Palm Beach Fairgrounds)
  10. Historic Depot Square - 1525 West Atlantic Avenue
  11. The Colony Hotel & North Annex - 525 East Atlantic Avenue
  12. Milton-Meyers Post No. 65 American Legion of the U.S. - 263 N.E. 5th Avenue
  13. Solomon Spady House - 170 N.W. 5th Avenue
  14. Susan Williams House - 30 N.W. 3rd Avenue (relocated to 154 N.W. 5th Avenue)
  15. The Blank House - 85 S.E. 6th Avenue
  16. The Monterey House - 20 North Swinton Avenue
  17. The Historic Bungalow - 24 North Swinton Avenue
  18. The Sandoway House - 142 South Ocean Boulevard
  19. Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church Chapel - 400 North Switon Avenue

  22. The Fellowship Hall of the First Presbyterian Church of Delray Beach - 36 Bronson Street
