Investigative Division

The investigative division is divided into two sections: Criminal Investigations and Vice, Intelligence and Narcotics.

Criminal Investigation Section

Their function is to conduct follow up investigations to reported crimes (i.e., robbery, burglary, fraud, auto-theft, homicide, etc.)

Vice, Intelligence and Narcotics Section

Their responsibility is to combat the supply of drugs that continue to impact our community. This is accomplished by preventing, reducing, and controlling crime, by decreasing the supply of drugs distributed in our community, and by lessening the profitability of those persons supplying the drugs.

Crime Scene Investigative Unit

This Division is comprised of one supervisor and four crime scene investigators. Their purpose is to respond to crime scenes and collect the essential evidence. This then assists the Investigation Division, Community Patrol Division, and the Community Response Task Force in solving various cases.P>
