City of Delray Beach Our City's values of exceptional Service through Performance by acting with Integrity, being Responsible, taking Innovative action, and practicing Teamwork are core values for all employees of the City of Delray Beach. Recognition is an important factor in motivating employees for doing a job well done, over and above what is expected. Therefore, a SPIRIT Recognition Team has been formed. This Team will act as the review panel for all nominations. The City of Delray Beach Recognition Team is a self-directed team comprised of employee representatives from all City departments. The SPIRIT Recognition Team will select three (3) quarterly winners. The winners will be honored at the Quarterly Service Awards Ceremony. Each winner will receive $250, along with a certificate of accomplishment. The winners and all nominees' names will be announced via e-mail and highlighted in the News Wave. The SPIRIT Recognition Team will choose an Annual Award Winner. This person will be chosen from all quarterly award winners. This individual will be recognized at an Annual Awards Banquet to be held in July each year. The winner will receive $2,000 plus a trophy. Nomination Criteria: Your participation is important.
