Bias based profiling is the selection of individuals based solely on a common trait of a group. It is the policy of the Delray Beach Police Department to prohibit bias based profiling under any conditions including traffic contacts, field contacts, and in asset seizure and forfeiture efforts.
The City of Delray Beach has implemented an emergency notification system called CodeRED, which is capable of placing as many as sixty thousand calls per hour to provide residents and businesses with critical information in emergency situations. In the event that the system is activated for your area, it will make up to three attempts to reach any phone numbers that you register.
