The City of Delray Beach offers a beach parking permit for residents of Delray Beach and non-residents, which covers the period from October 1 to September 30 of each year.
Where to Obtain a Beach Parking Permit Visit the Utilities Customer Service payment window in the Delray Beach City Hall lobby located at 100 N.W. 1st Avenue, Delray Beach to fill out an application, show your proof of vehicle ownership and proof of age (if applicable) and pay your fee. This $90.00 plus tax (regular) and $95.00 plus tax (senior) fee will authorize the parking of the vehicle for which the permit is acquired in any designated permit only parking space without requiring the payment of money into the space’s parking meter.
How to Purchase
Applicants are required to provide documentation of vehicle ownership. Proof of vehicle ownership can be one of the following: current State Motor Vehicle Registration, Title, current Bill of Sale, or vehicle Rental/Lease Agreement (in applicant’s name) for each vehicle. For purchase of Senior Beach Parking Permit a valid proof of age must also be provided, such as a Driver’s License.
Senior Beach Parking Permit
Residents age 62 or older are eligible to purchase a permit. This permit allows you to park in any parallel parking space on Ocean Blvd. (A1A). You do not have to purchase time on the meter for the space in which you are parked.
This permit is acceptable within the following City-owned parking lots on Ocean Blvd. (A1A):
- Sandoway Park
- Anchor Park
- Ingraham Park
- Atlantic Dunes
- Marriott North Lot
Fees are not prorated. Beach Parking Permits are issued according to the City’s Code of Ordinances, Section 71.060
