Cary Glickstein is a 4th generation native Floridian, the father of three and has resided in Delray Beach since 1989. Mr. Glickstein earned his B.A. degree from the University of Hawaii and his Law degree from the University of Miami School of Law.
Mr. Glickstein, a member of the Florida Bar since 1985, is the founder of Ironwood Properties. He previously served as Vice President and General Counsel of Falcor Industries, Inc., the U.S. subsidiary of a pacific-rim hospitality, real estate and manufacturing conglomerate. Mr. Glickstein also practiced law at Finley, Kumble, Wagner, Manley, Myerson and Casey, an international law firm, where he specialized in land-use and corporate matters.
Prior to becoming Mayor, Mr. Glickstein served as Chairman of the Delray Beach Planning and Zoning Board, and on the Board of Directors of the Greater Delray Beach Chamber of Commerce, Delray Beach Center for the Arts, Delray Beach National Little League, T.E.D. Center and Beach Property Owners Association. He has also served on the Delray Beach Public Art Advisory Board as well as the Unity School of Delray Beach Advisory Board, and is a Junior Achievement middle school instructor.
